    hello all,
    Thanks so much for this information, I usually forget one or two steps. I want to refinish my antique kitchen table soon—the finish is just a bit off. I think I will need to sand it back a layer first. It has a few issues after being moved around so much over the years.

    I think it is just a few marks, then touch it up and put some varathane on it.
