Are you bored with your bathroom? Has it become… shall we say outdated?
Before updating your bathroom maybe you have some questions, after all renovating your bathroom will take time and you want to get your moneys worth.
Decorating your bathroom sounds easy enough. You have your toilet, your tub, a countertop, a vanity sink and you’re done, right? Wrong.
Decorating a bathroom is harder than it looks if you actually care about interior design. Bathroom design ideas involves much more than just where to put your toilet and tub.
Tips to bring new life to your bathroom
New Lighting: Simple and cost effective.
One of the most overlooked things in a new bathroom is the lighting, which is often the most cost effective way to add a touch of brilliance to your new bathroom.
Making it match or total make over?
A great idea for a cost-effective design plan is to decide on hardware that matches your current tile and counter tops.
Faucets: Standard or amazing?
The faucet is yet another simple upgrade that should not be down played. An artistic faucet is an affordable addition that will keep your bathroom looking amazing.
Here are 21 cool bathroom design ideas to get the inspiration.

Why are the colors and contrast so overdriven in all these pictures?
The colours and contrast are not overdone in all the pictures. They vary quite a lot.
I absolutely love the orange one with the bath at the same level at the floor… reminding me of Tunisia, or Marocco… feel relaxed just by looking at it !
How about ideas for us plebians, who have small bathrooms?
i hardly think the people who own these bathrooms are the “buy an artistic faucet” or “match to the tiles you’ve got” crowd. for the most part, looks like a lot of new remodels.
The majority of these bathrooms and designs look as though they are Norwegian. They are industry leaders with clean design and bathroom innovation. Take for instance the *floating* sink and commode, in America, we yet to grasp this concept and it’s unfortunate. It’s a cleaner way to design and utilize the bathroom and it’s also funky in its appearance. I can’t wait for us to steal this general way of design.
So for those of us who don’t have bathrooms which you could play soccer in? What are we meant to do?
These are very trendy but for the most part, not very tasteful bathrooms. Interesting but not inviting.
Do all of you need to complain so much!? You all SUCK! These are pics of Bathrooms so you can get some good ideas for your own bathroom.. So PEOPLE, get an imagination and create something truly wonderful in your home!
ps – Miah and Dan… You are both the biggest fucking idiots ever! You will never grasp the concept of modern design.. Go back to your silly, lame little life and functionless bathrooms.
At least some of these I recognize from stock photo web sites, so these don’t even belong to the web site originally. Also, these bathrooms are the size of my living room!

My bathrooms are much, much smaller than the ones in the pictures. They are about 4ft x 6 ft. Any ideas for me?

I agree with you 100% that it takes more than knowing where to place the toilet and tub when trying to create a relaxing abode to relieve the pressures of life. I also appreciate the simple suggestions offered for updating a bathroom with a limited budget. The variety of bathroom pictures shown highlights the various possibilities that anyone can achieve especially when including a design professional in their project.
Thanks,

A TILE NATION
I like just about all the bathrooms. My problem is, i can’t seem to find anything to hang on the walls or decorate with. My question is where would i shop to find things like that?
All the pictures where great
1st pic says me to enjoy
5th pic says me to play and atlast
11th pic makes me to fall in love
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen so many bathroom design pictures in one place at one time.
The modern designs are so clean-looking, but I still favor some of the older themes, such as with the claw foot tubs. They’re still so elegant.
BATHROOM INTERIOR DESIGN: “HOW TO” SITE?
To a novice like me these bathrooms look great – thanks for the pictures. Is there a site that explains the basics of bathroom interior design for non-professionals (“Bathroom Interior Design for Dummies”) ? For many of us, we have constraints in terms of the location of the tub, the sink etc. While it is possible to change the specific location, there is the other constraint ….errrrrr …. finances
. So, with the location-constraint and financial-constraint it would be nice to know how to do a makeover of an existing bathroom. So, I need a recommendation for a website with suggestions etc.
I must say, those are some cool bathroom designs.
I agree with some of trhe comments above the colours are interesting but they dont seem the most inviting of bathrooms.
Some looka a bit cluttered like stuffs been thrown in a mess
the 3rd bathroom is adorable …the way they used the ceramic is nice …hope that i can apply it in my bathroom..i think that i will redesign my whole home…cause it is still in papers
and i cant ideas from the rest as well
thank you
Very cool! I like picture 5 and have an idea that if changing the bathtub to be a stone one, that would be more luxury, how do you think? I have seen some stone bathtubs project from website: http://www.stone-bathtubs.com/
Thank you for posting this. I’m a real estate agent myself in the Jacksonville Florida area, and have certainly witnessed changes over the last few years. I mostly just work short sales in Jacksonville, FL and am fortunate to have found a niche to make a living in these times.
Thanks i really like these
I love the bathroom idea with the tub set down into the floor!
